Abruzzo is a region that buries its roots and its traditions in the food and wine culture and Alba Adriatica although a new Community, has fully grasped the significance of the abruzzeses tastes collecting recipes linked to the coasts and mountain areas.
In the Vibratians territories that surround Alba Adriatica and also in all the Region, abounds vineyards, olive groves, various crops and fields dedicated to pastorizing and thanks to these lands and businesses, Abruzzo may boast the production of DOC artifacts (Montepulciano D’Abruzzo and Cerasuolo), DOP ( Extra Vergine Olive Oil Aprutino Pescarese and saffron from Aquila) and IGP ( White Veal from the Central Apennines and the central Italian lamb).
Turists that visits the coast may come into contact with a food culture made of genuine, certified, natural and land based products. In particular they will be able to taste the well-known Abruzzeses typicalities as spaghetties with little meat balls, timballo with scripelle, broth with cardone, lamb with cheese and eggs etc….
