During the first years of 1900 a first inhabitant centre made of villas and residential resorts lived by lustrous families as those of Flaiani, Ricci, Tonelli, Ranalli Chiarugi, Gialluca and others, allocated in the area of the old Tortoreto Station.

In time, the area extended through the building of new houses, streets, businesses and services. The town became more appreciated by all to  spent their leisure time and also as a seaside locality even if, to access the beach was not easy.During these years (early 1900) a rich family of Torano Nuovo (a small town in the nearby of Alba Adriatica) with its ancestor Amadio Fiore, decided to buy a piece of land near the sea and to build there a villa following the project of Emidio, son of Armando. The house was built using the first bricks made by Fiore's families fornace, and soon the neighbourhood developed with new buildings and a promenade.

The new town took the name of Villa Fiore. Today it is one of the sea towns more appreciated by tourists and by inhabitants distinguishing itself for the presence of equipped camping centers, businesses, services and elegant Hotels and Restaurants.
