Alba Adriatica extends over an area of about 10km square and borders with the Communities of Colonella, Corropoli, Martinsicuro and Tortoreto. It is located in the area of Val Vibrata and it consists of 3 small fractions: Basciani, Casasanta and Villa Fiore. Despite its recent birth(  the municipality was constituted in 1956) it is possible to observe historical and prehistoric finds in the inner and surrounding areas.
The proximity to the sea and to the Marche Region made of the locality an important business and fisheries center. Still today it plays an important role for the coastal area and the Abruzzo Region. More times awarded with Blue Flag and presented in the magazine of Guida Blu of Legambiente as a sail ( in the year 2016), Alba Adriatica is known by the name of Silver Beach for its broad and silver tone sandy coast, crystal clear water which colour an intense blu during the hot season.

The coast is soft and continue and features stretches of free beach for the leisure of families and teens that want to fully enjoy their relax. Private beaches managed every day and night by the staff of the seaside establishments .

The beach chalets are well-equipped and offer impeccable services  and entertain tourists with themed events  and  evenings.  During all the year, Alba Adriatica thanks to the presence of businesses and leisure activities, restorative and qualified receptive facilities and as well for  the proximity with the mountain territory of the Gran Sasso, immersed in history and nature ,  gives emotions  relax and entertainment .

The promenade Guglielmo Marcone with its vegetation and fountains , is crossed by the cycle track that connects Alba Adriatica to Villa Rosa and  Martinsicuro towards Marche and to Tortoreto , Giulianova and  Cologna Beach continuing in the opposite direction. The cycle track is called “ the  Adriatic Green Corridor”. It allows to enjoy a view that changes according to the territory one goes through, enriched with bridges ( over the creek Vibrata, on Salinello and Tordino) plants, foreshortenings , monuments and at every pedal different beautiful landscapes . Over time “ The Adriatic Green Corridor” will add new steps crossing new localities . Alba Adriatica will acquire this way links to new coastal stretches.

Moving away from the coast it is possible to admire the hinterland  localities of Valle Vibrata to discover the artistic beauties of small towns just as Colonella, Controguerra and Corropoli well-known for the presence of vineyards and olive groves that produce high quality products, and for the feasts  that animate hot seasons.
