The San Gabriele Sanctuary of the Addolorata

The Sanctuary, located in the territory of the Gran Sasso, was built in memory of the smiling Saint of the Youth, miracles. Every day devouts and not visit the Sanctuary to know about the life of Saint Gabriel and to admire the beauty of the structure.

The Sanctuary consists of several parts: the Basilica which welcomes the tomb of the Saint, the ancient Chapel, the Museum, the New Church and the Inner Chapel with an antique frescoed cloister. Nearby there are restaurants and small shops where one may buy memories of the Saint and the large square in front of the churche serves as a parking lot for the arrivals of tourists, devouts and students who visit the shrine at the "100 days before the state examinations" For the blessing of pens.
