The Sanctuary Maria S.S. Of the Splendor

In 1847 a community of Cappuccino monks took up residence in the ancient abbey at the Sanctuary of Maria S.S. Of the Splendor erected in the place where, on April 22, 1557, the Virgin Mary appeared and that, over the years, underwent structural changes and enlargements.

Between the end of the 1980s and the early 1990s, the sanctuary underwent a remarkable restoration work that led to the creation of a rich vegetation around the "source of Our Lady". The crown of the structure is the Via Crucis realized by Artista Ubaldo Ferretti with its natural-sized bronze structures that leads along an enchanting path surrounded by greenery.
