The Wood of Sant'Antonio

Who loves to breathe in full the smells, colours and the atmospheres of nature the Wood Sant'Antonio is a truly fascinating attraction. Located in the province of Aquila in Pescocostanzo.

The landscape is rich in a multitude of species of plants, flowers centries-old -tree and animals. Among the principal environmental beauties there are: the Poenia, The Odorous Star, The strawberry grass the Cerro, and many others while in the Fauna there are Spaviero, Poiana, Green Woodpecker and Bricklayer Woodpecker.

The winter season transforms the site into one of the most appreciated ski slopes of Abruzzo. Both in summer and winter the Locality of Pescocostanzo deserves to be visited.
